Sculptures Tremblay Ltd. create quality wooden bird sculptures for the home. Their line of products are high in quality and wide in variety. From mobiles to wine-bottle holders, to standing sculptures for any surface, Sculptures Tremblay Ltd. offer many a waterfowl accent for your home interior.
The Tremblay family have spent three generations honing their craft – to immense success! Incorporated in 1966, Sculptures Tremblay Ltd., of L’Islet-sur-Mer, Quebec, is now famous for their line of wooden duck sculptures for the home, and are the foremost wooden duck manufacturers in Canada.
But perhaps the most intriguing of their products are the sculptures which greet guests upon your front doorstep: wooden Door Knockers.

The wooden door knockers are one of Sculptures Tremblay Ltd.’s most popular products.
Each door knocker is fashioned in the likeness of familiar Canadian fowl. Now, a woodpecker’s drumming will be announcing guests, rather than the more literal (and perhaps less joyously anticipated) interruptions from your feathered neighbour.

These knockers offer that rustic touch to urban abodes that is all a-la-mode in home décor. Not only are artisan goods in high demand for home décor going into 2016, but Canadians are also showing a growing interest in bringing animal motifs into the home.
They’re also that ideal addition to polish off a homey woodland cabin.

I love the perfect marriage between form and function the line of woodpecker door knockers communicates.
However, as you may have noticed, the artisans at Sculptures Tremblay Ltd. did not feel compelled to be limited by a direct translation between form and function; door knocker critters also come in everything from a male mallard, a comely kingfisher, and a giddy goldfinch.

More removed still, a puffin, a chipmunk, even a beaver (appropriate in its own way), and many more creatures can be knocking on your door if Sculptures Tremblay Ltd. has anything to say about it!

I happened upon these sculptures at Stonewaters Home Elements in Canmore, AB. Sculptures from Sculptures Tremblay Ltd. can be found at these other locations across Canada, and the United States.
