The Joya Rocker by Monte is a contemporary spin on the classic rocking chair! Canadian company Monte takes the classic concept of the rocking chair and gives it a modern and comfortable make-over.

The Monte Design Group was formed in 2005 by designers Ralph and Michelle Montemurro.

The inspiration to create modern, Canadian, high-quality nursery furniture came while they were in the process of designing their own son’s nursery.

Called ‘Modern Nursery Furniture’, it combines the gentle, comforting movement of the rocking chair with a beautiful, chic look, and ergonomic design.

The Joya Rocker comes with a lumber pillow, for neck, back and ‘baby in your lap’ support.

This beautiful piece of furniture is handcrafted in Canada using ecological and sustainable methods (for information click here).

The rocker base comes in the option of solid walnut or white as well as a variety of fabric choices.
