Cranberry Hill Kitchens is a small family firm located out side of Toronto in Burlington, Ontario. They have been in business for almost thirty years specializing in both designing and manufacturing high quality custom cabinetry.
This firm strives to meet individual needs through their custom work, whether by installing hardware for left-hand capability or meeting physical limitations, everything is designed with the customer in mind.
In 2016, Cranberry Hill Kitchens designed and manufactured this elegant and airy kitchen located in a beautiful lakeside neighbourhood in Mississauga, Ontario. The home features a transitional style kitchen with white and wood cabinetry, Caesarstone and granite countertops, and an architecturally magnificent coffered ceiling. If you’re just learning about design, a ‘Transitional Style’ marries traditional and contemporary fixtures, finishes, and materials to convey a classic, timeless design. As you’ll see in this alluring space, this includes mixing straight lines, rounded profiles and a mono-chromatic materials in different patterns.
The cabinetry uses elegant Top Knobs hardware that matches perfectly with the Victorian style brushed nickel faucet. Not only is the cabinetry something to marvel at, but the cast iron sink is too.
On top of this, the extravagant glass cabinets add richness to the space.
This luxurious design incorporates tall upper cabinets to elevate the space, drawing attention to the coffered ceiling.
As well, the herringbone pattern backsplash, paired with the raised oval link panels in the cabinetry, offers subtle elegant touches reflective of the transitional style.
By paneling the double-door fridge, the eyes rest on the cohesiveness of the space rather than an overwhelming appliance, while the French-inspired stainless steel exhaust hood nods to the sophistication of a chateau, while using a modern material.
