Peter Pierobon is a furniture designer, sculptor and artist born and raised in North Vancouver.

As a young boy Pierobon found inspiration to create from his surrounding landscapes and local first nation artists.

Having left Canada’s west coast to study in New York with renowned contemporary furniture artist Wendell Castle, as well as working internationally, Peter has since returned to his Vancouver roots and has risen as an established artist on Canada’s west coast.

Whether it’s the use of British Columbia’s vernacular materials or a more subtle connection hidden in the concept of a piece, Peter’s work continues to represents his love of his province.

Pierobon’s Mountain Table uses cherry wood and slate to create a dining table that seemingly defies gravity. The combination of materials allows the slate to be celebrated as a permanent centerpiece.

While the Mountain Table celebrates B.C. materials, the design of the walnut Coast Range Bar Console represents the diversity of Canada’s west coast.

Each drawer of the console is carefully designed to perfectly house various bar requirements.

The Totem Clock, a bronze sculpture, stands at just over 6 feet tall and is a great example of Pierobon’s abstraction of his first nation inspirations.
