Private Beachfront Haven In Vancouver, B.C.

Now here’s a praise-worthy masterpiece!

Vancouver based Mitchell Freedland Design designed this beautiful West Vancouver private beachfront residence, which was the recipient of multiple awards, including Canadian Interiors Magazine’s “Best of Canada for Residential Design”.

With its spectacular waterfront location, Mitchell Freedland introduced a monochromatic scheme reminiscent of the white-on-white-on-white interiors made popular by Syrie Maugham in the 1920’s. Keeping the view centre stage, the expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing frames the majestic and moody Pacific Ocean, which provides an ever-changing sight line of nature’s canvas. To balance the compelling rugged landscape, the thoughtful composition and craftsmanship of honed luxury finishes exude their own quiet strength, creating a perfect harmony inside and out.

Neutrality reins in this elegant dwelling, though it isn’t too cool for comfort. The incorporation of warm wood tones makes each space feel like the perfect dreamy respite.

Perched between the trees and the water, and tucked within the natural slope of the land, the concrete exterior of the home is equally as subtle as the interiors.

This is nothing less than dreamy!
