Canada’s Most Expensive Home On The Market For $38Million

Are you curious to see what the ultimate in Canadian luxury property looks like?

Envision a fusion of rusticity and opulence – where ranch meets palatial – and you’ve hit the mark with Kettle Lake Ranch.

Dazzling us with impressive stone work on the facade, exterior lights are placed strategically to highlight its majestic details.

With 242 acres of land and 5,000 square feet of total living space, Kettle Lake Ranch is the epitome of Canadian luxury. Located on the outskirts of Calgary, Alberta the site – once owned by the Ford family automobile dynasty – includes two private lakes. The main 3050 square foot dwelling, constructed in 2011, has a barn, a hay storage building, a vintage gas station, a guest house and ranch (and, of course, staff accommodations (of course). We adore the pristine mountain views, the wine ‘grotto and last, but not least, the heated garage which accommodates up to seven cars!

While the exterior shows opulence, the interior leans more to the ranch vernacular blended with modern accents. Inside we find exposed wood beams, deer heads perched above cozy fireplaces, antique ivory cabinets, modern granite countertops, high-end appliances, and retro claw-foot bathtubs juxtaposed against grandiose chandeliers. Oh, there’s one more thing, the dining room showcases more than $1,000,000 in custom millwork alone!

We marvel at the on-site vintage gas station – which is an iconic example of the Henry Ford Heritage.

Here’s a peek inside:

I really admire this antler inspired chandelier. How Canadian!
